Everyone was surprised when race director, Niels Wittich informed that he is going to enforce the rule banning the Jewellery in his pre-race notes during Melbourne Grand Prix. Now the whole paddock is heated up due to this decision resulting potential race ban for Lewis Hamilton during the historical Monaco Grand Prix. Mercedes team principal, Toto Wolff feels that Wittich’s decision to enforce the jewellery ban is his biggest faux pas of the season, he will take that “a thousand times over”..

Ferrari & Red Bull rivalry was a common scenery in Formula 1 in the final years of the V8 era where Vettel & Alonso fought for the drivers’ titles. But it became neutral during the turbo-hybrid era due to the uncompetitive cars from both sides. Red Bull broke the silence last year by winning the drivers’ tile last year & now Ferrari appears to be the fastest team in the grid from the beginning of the 2022 season. Now the old rivalry is back for the 2022 season!

Aston Martin rejects those allegations regarding the copying of RB 18 to upgrade their AMR 22. Their chief technical officer Andy Green said that they are developing this concept prior to its being introduced as RB18 & he was unhappy about the statements made by Red Bull racing regarding the upgrades that are introduced purely as a result of the hard work by their factory squad.

Since 1950, different types of engines are used in Formula 1 with the development of the technology. Currently, the 1.6L turbocharged V6 hybrid engines are used. Before that V8, V10 & V12 engines were used in different ears to power the Formula 1 cars. These engines are specially designed for Formula 1 cars using the finest technologies in the automobile industry. Formula 1 car can reach up to a speed of 100Km/h within 2.4s & its top speed is normally around 360Km/h. The fastest engine doesn’t make the fastest car in the grid & hundreds of other things affect the speed of the car.

F1 car is completely different from cars that we see on roads. It is streamlined in shape with a long sharp nose at the front of the car. The front wing which is composed of layers of sharp flat blades is attached to the front end of the nose. At the end of the nose, the cockpit is positioned. Behind that engine & gearbox components are positioned. It is totally covered with the engine cover to maintain the smooth air flows over the car. Finally, the rear wing is positioned with a moving blade to support the DRS. The underside of the car is totally covered with the ‘floor’ to maintain the smooth airflows.
